A Long, But Productive Day
I got up about 7:30 this morning when my hubby called for our daily morning chat. Then I spent the morning getting ready for the afternoon, feeding the dogs, taking a shower, writing a check to cash, making a list of things I needed to do...you know the drill. Then this afternoon, we did our recycling, ran by the bank to get out money for our vacation (we leave Friday), took the kids to piano and went to Walmart to pick up a couple of items and fill a prescription, then stopped by Joe Beans and the post office on the way home.
Once home, returned to my latest project, which is dubbing home movies from VHS to DVD format. That is a blast, but I'll save that for another post. While the videos were playing, I worked our sorting out some photos the kids had taken yesterday while visiting my father. They are in 4-H and they were having to take specific photos for their 4-H project book. We named them and sorted them to prepare them for printing at CVS when we return from vacation.
I also have done some odds and ends on the computer. A little research, some email, some facebook time. I like being busy! Keeps me out of the kitchen!
