Tragic Weasel

Finally, a day without rain. The rain has been good and I know the plants can all use it, but it is nice to have a pretty, sunny day today. Of course a lot of rain followed by a lot of sun means only one thing....tall grass. It is the end of May and as yet, we haven't mowed this season. My hubby works out of town most of the time, so this chore is left to me. It is not one I like and with a bad knee, it isn't particularly fun. But the time has come...the grass is now 3-4 feet tall (no, I am not kidding!)  So today, the grass gets to dry out and tomorrow, after church, we will clean up the sticks, rocks and toys that the pooches have spread across the yard and we will mow, mow, mow.... Just in time for the visit with the in-laws next week.
